Officials have halted the fire that gripped Phu Kradueng National Park in Loei province, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation spokesman Sompoch Maneerat said.
“According to the official report, the damage was spread over 2,000 rai (320ha) because of the dry national park area, ” he said yesterday. “Officials are still monitoring the park as they are afraid a fire will occur again.”
