JAKARTA: The Indonesian population has been estimated to increase by 52 million to 319 million in 2045, Head of Indonesia's Central Agency of Statistics Kecuk Suhariyanto said on Friday (Feb 14).
The forecast was jointly made by the agency, the National Development Planning Board and the United Nations Population Fund, Suhariyanto said, adding that the projection could be used as a guideline in making policies and preparing facilities.
