China views phase one of trade deal with US in positive light

WASHINGTON (Agencies) - The just-signed China-United States phase one economic and trade agreement bears both economic and political significance, Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He said.

The deal has “considerably addressed the concerns” of both sides, Liu said, as the world’s two biggest economies marked a truce in the lingering trade impasse.
