JAKARTA: Backing from China strengthens Indonesia’s bid to host the Summer Olympic Games of 2032, an official has hinted. Late last year, Indonesian officials visited China and Japan to campaign for their 2032 plan.

Lobbying powerful countries is seen as the key tactic for the country to realize its ambitious dream, as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will apply no bidding contest for hosting the 2032 Games.
