JAKARTA, ANN, Jan 2 -- Operations at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in East Jakarta resumed on Thursday after the airport was forced to close Wednesday morning on account of massive flooding in Greater Jakarta.
State-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura II said the runway was no longer inundated. Flooding had prevented planes from taking off and landing, forcing all flights to be moved to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
