JAKARTA: The government is planning to develop more online vocational courses in an effort to boost the competency of Indonesian workers, particularly those living in rural areas.
In his second term, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo said he aims to provide nationwide vocational training to reduce the country’s unemployment rate, which was 5.28% as of August.
