JAKARTA: US aircraft manufacturer Boeing may make a decision as early as Monday (Dec 16) to either halt or further cut back production of its troubled 737 MAX jets, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

Boeing's board was meeting in Chicago on Sunday, the WSJ reported citing "people familiar with the matter," with management seeing pausing production of the aircraft as the most viable option.
