Rule-flouting drivers in Jakarta, beware

Jakarta: Police have installed more CCTV cameras used in the electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) system that are said to have more advanced features.The additional cameras started operating yesterday on footbridges located near the Senayan traffic circle, the Jakarta police headquarters in Semanggi, the Tourism Min­istry, the Administrative and Bur­eaucratic Reform Ministry and Plaza Gajah Mada.

They were also operating at the elevated road near Sudirman Sta­tion and BNI City station, the Arjuna Wiwaha statue traffic circle, Sari­nah-Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) intersection and the Sarinah-Starbucks intersection.
