Singapore: Singapore’s Minister for Social and Family Development says adoption laws will be reviewed following a landmark ruling by the Supreme Court last month that allowed a gay man to adopt his five-year-old biological son.
“Following the Court’s judgement, (the ministry) is reviewing our adoption laws and practices to see how they should be strengthened to better reflect public policy, which in turn is a reflection of the values of our broad society today,” Desmond Lee told parliament on Monday.
