SEOUL: The head of South Korean flag carrier Korean Air – whose family was embroiled in multiple scandals including one involving macadamia nuts – was indicted on charges of embezzling millions of dollars and other offences.
Prosecutors yesterday charged Cho Yang-ho (pic) with embezzling over 20 billion won (RM73.4mil) and awarding contracts to firms controlled by his family members, according to Yonhap news agency.
