SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): The agreement signed between Singapore and Malaysia to suspend the High-Speed Rail (HSR) project for about two years is a "fair arrangement" for both countries, Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan said on Monday (Oct 1) in Parliament.
Khaw said the deal signed last month "protects Singapore's interests, while reasonably accommodating Malaysia's request".
