Hanoi urges its citizens to stop eating dog meat

Hanoi: An international animal welfare charity has welcomed the news Hanoi is considering banning the consumption of dog meat in certain areas.

The Humane Society Inter­national said it’s time those who make a living from slaughtering and selling dogs look for another profession, and understand the dangers of selling the meat.
