YANGON: Myanmar’s government has denied a report documenting at least five mass graves containing Rohingya Muslim civilians killed by the military with help from Buddhist neighbours, saying that only “terrorists” were killed and they were “carefully buried”.
It was reported on Thursday that the mass graves in the village of Gu Dar Pyin were confirmed through interviews with more than two dozen survivors who had fled to refugee camps in neighbouring Bangladesh, and through time-stamped cellphone videos.
