Sugar cane crusher claims Phuket worker’s hand

The hand had been destroyed in the crusher and almost completely separated from his forearm.

BANGKOK: Kyam Thu Aung, a 31-year-old Myanmar worker in Phuket had a horrific accident Friday afternoon when he lost his hand in a home sugar cane crusher.

Kusoldham Rescue Foundation volunteers arrived to find the man with parts of his left hand still inside the crusher.
