Singapore: The United Nations’ civil aviation body is looking to set general guidelines and recommendations to help countries deal with the growing threat of cybercrime to aviation safety.
Singapore, which is a key contributor and supporter of the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s (ICAO) policies, is likely to be closely involved in discussions surrounding the guidelines, said ICAO council president Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu during the World Civil Aviation Chief Executives Forum held at the Singapore Aviation Academy yesterday.
