Thai police investigating suspected pipe bomb found near Bangkok MRT station

BANGKOK: Authorities are investigating an object suspected to be a pipe bomb found near a Bangkok MRT station on Tuesday afternoon, a week after a bomb injured more than 20 people at a hospital in the city.

National police Commissioner Chakthip Chaijinda said they are checking whether the object found near the Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station is related to three recent bomb blasts in the Thai capital.
