MANILA: A tectonic earthquake of magnitude 5.5 struck 12 kilometers east of San Marcelino in Zambales at 10:27pm (local time) on Thursday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tremor was felt in parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Pampanga, Bataan, and Benguet.
