Beijing: The Foreign Ministry has held an urgent meeting with officials of the French embassy in Beijing over the death of a Chinese man in Paris, and called for Chinese people in France who express their demands to do so in a reasonable and legal manner.
Some Chinese clashed with French police as they went to a police station to petition over the killing of the man, who was shot dead at his home by plainclothes police on Sunday evening, the ministry confirmed.
