ZHENGZHOU: A thousand-year-old pagoda in central China’s Henan province has started on its largest-scale renovation since 1949, said local officials.
The nine-storey octangular pagoda, in the Wuhua Temple of Yiyang County in Luoyang City, stands 37.2m tall and features carvings of buddhas and giants.
