BANGKOK: Thais clad in black and holding portraits of King Bhumibol Adulyadej are gathering along streets in Bangkok to pay their respect to the revered monarch whose body will be brought to the Grand Palace on Friday afternoon.
Large crowds are expected to turn up to watch a motorcade transport the king's body from Siriraj Hospital to the nearby Grand Palace, a complex of temples and pavilions in the heart of the capital city.
