The search for missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 entered a new phase on 05 October as special vessels arrived in the southern Indian Ocean to probe canyons and peaks 6,000 metres under the surface of the ocean. The Dutch deep sea survey vessel Fugro Discovery arrived in Perth for restocking and will join the GO Phoenix, which is already in the search area and which is fitted with special sonar and cameras mounted on deep sea drones, by 10 October, officials said.
