INDIA: The carcasses of more than 150 olive ridley sea turtles were washed ashore near Pantha Niwas in Puri, some 65km from Bhubaneswar, India.
They were recovered on Wednesday by government environmental officials.
The coast of India's Odisha state is the world's largest nesting site for the turtles, which are listed as a vulnerable species. - TheStraitsTimes/ANN
