THE chairman of Singapore's key agency for promoting scientific research and development has been appointed as an economic adviser to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, a government statement said yesterday.
As special adviser for economic development, Philip Yeo will work with the prime minister to establish strategic and economic links with foreign governments, the statement said.
