“THE government definitely needs to do more to reduce medical costs. It is a big burden for the lao bai xing (common people) who are not earning much,” said Xui, who runs a newspaper stall in Shanghai.
She was commenting on news that the Chinese government was expected to cut the prices of some 160 medicinal drugs soon.
