A DEFEATED opposition candidate at the centre of a controversy over a campaign form was given a “stern warning” for his use of threatening words toward a public servant, a police statement said yesterday.
After days of questioning and reviewing the evidence, police said the public prosecutor was satisfied that James Gomez, 40, committed the offence against a public servant who was carrying out his duties.
