SINGAPORE'S elections authority reminded its overseas citizens yesterday to register a local address for voting purposes, a clear sign that an election may be called soon.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who was appointed in August 2004, does not need to call a parliamentary election until June 2007, but is widely expected to announce an early poll within weeks or months.
