CALL it the pampered dogs life pooches Yogi and Ewok dined on Hainanese chicken rice, grilled lamb with garlic and potatoes, chicken pot pie, baked lamb and rice, and chicken stew last week.
And more gourmet meals are on the menu for them.
Their owner, Karen Lim, 41, has signed up for a new food-delivery service for dogs, started last Monday by US Doggie Bakery in East Coast Road.
For S$16.50 (RM36.60), she gets five meals delivered free to her home. And depending on what Yogi, a poodle, and Ewok, a poodle-pomeranian, like, she can choose from a list of 30 dishes.
Lim, who is director of curriculum in a private school, said: I dont even have time to cook for myself, let alone for the dogs. But they are our babies and we want them to have the best.
She and her husband, civil servant Harold Lim, 41, have no children and usually have hawker food for dinner.
The doggie food-delivery service is believed to be the first of its kind here. The Straits Times/ANN
