HONG KONG: Officials here are considering laws to ensure children are given a healthy lunch as a worrying increase in obesity threatens the health of the Chinese territory, a media report said yesterday.
The law would regulate lunches handed to youngsters at school canteens and could be in place by 2007, the Sunday Morning Post reported, citing health department sources.
