YANGON: Thirty-eight military intelligence officers associated with ousted Prime Minister Gen Khin Nyunt have received long prison terms for corruption and related charges, members of Myanmar's legal community said on Friday.
The officers were sentenced on Thursday by a special court that had convened in Yangon's Insein prison, said the sources, who asked not to be identified out of concern for their safety.
