CANBERRA: Australia, Japan and Singapore yesterday prepared to redeploy troops in Indonesia to help with that country's latest earthquake disaster, while Washington and other nations expressed condolences and a desire to help.
The foreign presence was being scaled down before Monday's quake, but some countries immediately offered to crank their operations back up again.
