SYDNEY: A Singaporean couple was charged in an Australian court yesterday with attempting to poison their two young daughters, who were on life support in a hospital after ingesting 120 cold and allergy pills each, a prosecutor said.
The unidentified parents in their mid-30s planned to kill their children, aged six and seven, by feeding them large doses of antihistamines, before committing suicide themselves, prosecutor Keren Bayley told a Sydney court.
