Walkman no longer camera shy

TOKYO: Sony, launched its latest Walkman model yesterday which features a built-in digital camera that can be used to make custom album covers or create slideshows to accompany the tunes coming through the earphones. 

The new model will be able to read Hi-MD Mini-discs, and can store the equivalent of 250 titles compressed as MP3 files or around 7,200 photographs. 

The new Walkman to be sold in North America and Europe next quarter will cost ¥52,800 yen (RM1,900). – AFP
