NARATHIWAT: A brighter future is in store for Muslims in southern Thailand following the open policy of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to develop the education and economy of the restive south provinces.
South Thailand Islamic Coordination Body Director Abdul Rohman Abdul Samad said he expected Thaksin to pursue the policy and programme to help the Muslims in the south when he reshuffles his Cabinet soon.
