YANGON: Myanmar's military government will introduce an anti-human trafficking law by midyear to aggressively prosecute offenders, a newspaper reported yesterday.
The legislation will allow law enforcement agencies to freeze the property of traffickers and their accomplices, the semi-official Myanmar Times said, quoting Lt-Col Rallyan Mone, head of the Home Ministry's Anti-Trafficking Unit.
