TAIPEI: A moderate earthquake jolted eastern Taiwan yesterday, the Central Weather Bureau said, but no damage or casualties were reported.
The magnitude-4.8 quake's epicentre was about 1km south-east of the town of Hualien, according to the weather bureau.
