PHNOM PENH: Retired Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk called yesterday for an end to a political feud in which an opposition MP was detained and his party leader, Sam Rainsy, and a colleague fled the country.
The solution was for the political foes to withdraw lawsuits they had brought against each other and to restore the parliamentary immunity stripped from the three deputies, Sihanouk wrote in a letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen.
