JERUSALEM: Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said he is “very satisfied” with measures Mahmoud Abbas has taken to reduce violence and planned to move forward with the new Palestinian president towards peace.
“There is no doubt that Abu Mazen (Abbas) has begun to work. I have a serious interest in advancing the process with him,” Sharon told Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper in an interview published yesterday. – Reuters
