WITH two weeks to polling day, a report has emerged that a Thai Rak Thai (TRT) candidate whose daughter married into the Kelantan royal family, plans to use his connections to seek PAS’ help in resolving the southern Thailand conflict.
“PAS has a majority in Kelantan. They know who the insurgents are and what they are doing, but they do not think about helping Thailand since nobody has asked them to,” Wairoj Pipitpakdee, a former Democrat who is now with TRT, said.
