TOKYO: Japan issued a tsunami warning yesterday after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck off its eastern coast. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The quake struck at 3.11pm local time, about 200km off the coast of Chiba prefecture (state), the Meteorological Agency said.
