NEW DELHI: Dense fog typical of Indian winters blanketed the capital early yesterday, forcing some flights to be cancelled or diverted, and delaying many trains, news reports said.
Visibility over the Palam area, where the Indira Gandhi International Airport is located, dropped to 50m before dawn, forcing airlines to suspend operations, Press Trust of India news agency reported.
