VIENNA: Iran has pledged to the United Nations in writing to fully suspend uranium enrichment, ending a deadlock over its response to Washington's charges that Teheran is secretly developing nuclear weapons.
The UN watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) received on Sunday an official letter from Iran confirming the suspension, an IAEA spokesman said in Vienna.
