HANOI: A senior legal official and former chief district prosecutor has been arrested in Ho Chi Minh City for alleged links with Vietnam's notorious Nam Cam crime network, police said yesterday.
Nguyen Van Thanh, 49, former director of the People's Procuracy of Ho Chi Minh City's District 4, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly receiving and offering bribes and supporting organised crime, a police official said.
