AFTER Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra made his nationally televised speech on Friday night to let the people know what he thought about the escalating crisis in the three southernmost provinces, there came an obvious question: what next?
Whatever remorse he might have tried to express in words during his statement on the deaths of 87 people during and after the clash in Narathiwats Tak Bai district a few days ago, his eyes and attitude towards the tragedy and the entire crisis told a different story.
