TOKYO: Japan's top court on Friday ordered the government to pay 77mil yen (RM2.6mil) in damages to plaintiffs in a lawsuit involving the country's worst case of industrial poisoning.
The Supreme Court upheld a high court ruling from April 2001, bringing an end to a case filed more than two decades ago.
