JAKARTA: Police arrested the suspected mastermind of the bombing of a McDonald's restaurant last year and said the man was believed linked to a Malaysian militant wanted over last month's attack on the Australian Embassy, officers said yesterday.
Agung Abdul Hamid was detained in Yogyakarta following an intensive manhunt, said police Maj Gen Saleh Saaf, who didn't say when the arrest was made.
