SINGAPORE: A five-year-old Australian girl, critically wounded in a huge bomb blast in Indonesia, was in stable condition yesterday after emergency surgery, a doctor who operated on her at a Singapore hospital said.
Elisabeth Manuela Bambina Muzu, known affectionately in the Australian media as “Manny”, was among 182 people wounded when a car bomb exploded outside the Australian embassy in Jakarta on Thursday, killing nine people including her Indonesian mother, Maria Eva Kumalawati, 27.
