BEIJING: At least 79 people were killed and 74 were missing after some of the worst rainstorms in recent years triggered landslides and flash floods in south-west China, disaster relief officials said yesterday.
At least 55 were killed and 47 were missing in Sichuan Province while 24 people died and 27 were missing in Chongqing municipality.
