HANOI: Singapore and Vietnam stepped up efforts yesterday to improve bilateral trade and economic ties with the opening of a two-day conference aimed at attracting foreign investors to the communist nation.
The forum was sponsored by Singapore's government-owned investment vehicle Temasek Holdings and city-state conglomerate Keppel Corp.
