TOKYO: Japanese royal doctors finally put a name to the mystery condition afflicting Crown Princess Masako yesterday, saying she was suffering from adjustment disorder.
The diagnosis was announced by the Imperial Household Agency, more than two months after Crown Prince Naruhito discussed the toll royal life has taken on his 40-year-old wife, who has not been seen in public since December and is widely believed to have suffered a nervous breakdown.
