BANGKOK: Security forces have arrested five Muslims for suspected involvement in the recent spate of violence in southern Thailand, including a fatal bomb explosion that killed a soldier, the prime minister said yesterday.
Police seized several items from them, including documents pointing to a plot to bomb six targets, one of which was hit on Sunday with a blast that killed a marine and injured six of his comrades, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said.
